RESUMEN
ABSTRACT
COVID-19 pandemic impacted insurance law as a new catastrophic risk
materialized, making it necessary to adjust wordings and claims’ administrative
and judicial decisions, although it also demonstrated the resilience of the
insurance industry in the global scope. In this article we illustrate the main
adjustments that occurred in life insurance policy wordings, the management
of claims in business interruption insurance policies due to losses caused
by isolation measures, and the management of claims in bond, surety or
performance bonds.
