Resumen
La división tripar tita de poderes consagrada por la Cons titución de Estados
Unidos en 1787 y adoptada por los países latinoamericanos requirió un sis-
tema que permitiera una relación armónica entr e las áreas del Estado. Dicho
objetivo se logró con la doc trina del control de constitucionalidad establecida
en . Desde entonces el poder judicial ser ía responsable de
controlar los actos del ejecutivo y del legislativo, para constatar que fueran
conformes a la Cons titución. Este estudio analiza el modo en que el sistema
estadounidense de control de constitucionalidad fue adoptado en Argentina,
convirtiéndose en el eje para la interacción p olítica.

Abstract
The tripartite division of powers enshrined in the US Constitution in 1787
and adopted by Latin Amer ican countries, required a system that would al-
low a harmonious relationship between the areas of the state. This objective
was achieved with the doctr ine of judicial review established in Marbury v.
Madison. Since then, the judiciar y would be responsible for monitoring the
actions of the executive and the legislature, to verif y that they were consis-
tent with the Constitution. This study examines how the American system of
constitutional review was adopted in Argentina, becoming the hub for political
interaction.
