RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE AUTHORS
Those persons sending articles to be published on any of Universidad de Medellin journal s,
should enclose a document certifying that the article has not been published before, that
they are the authors, and that their articles have not been proposed for publication on any
other media simultaneously. Besides, the authors grant property rights to the institution,
authorizing the release of such articles by any medium, either printed or electronic, inclu-
ding the Internet.
That people interested in presenting their articles to be published on Universidad de Medellin
School of Law “Opinión Jurídica” Journal, should comply with the following requirements:
1. Tosend thearticle ona magneticmedia totheJournal’spublisher,Mr.Mauricio Bocanument
Arbeláez; e-mail mbocanument@udem.edu.co
2. Articles should be submitted bearing in mind the following order.
• Titleof the articleandsubtitle, ifany.Footnoteindicating titleof the completedresearch
fromwhichthearticlewastaken;nameofthemainresearcher;author’scapacity;institution
financing the research; and year when research was completed.
• Fullnameofauthor(s).Footnoteindicatingacademictraining,typeofemployment,research
group and line of the author, e-mail, and mailing address (it is also important to include mailing
addressoftheauthor’sinstitution).Theinstitutionmailingaddressisnotreleased;itwillbe
kept for exclusive use of the Journal only.
• Abstractof the article(15lines maximum),key words,and whenpossible, translationinto
Englis h.
• Introduction:Introductionshouldincludea shortdescriptionof themethodology usedfor
developing the completed research from which results displayed on the article were obtained.
• Articlecontent.
• Conclusions.
• Referencesorbibliography.
