RECOMMENDATIONS FOR AFFILIATES AND VENDORS WHO DESIRE TO
IMPLEMENT DEVELOPMENTS THAT CONSUME BVC SAE FIXML SERVICES

Over the course of this year, bvc has been making adjustments to the infrastructure corresponding to
the consumption of bvc FIXML services in order to guarantee availability by avoiding vulnerabilities. For
this reason, bvc has worked together with the affiliates that currently consume these services to
guarantee the corresponding enlistment within the entities.
In this way, we recommend to entities that wish to implement new FIXML developments to take into
account the following considerations:
1. Ensure that the development implemented supports the TLS 1.2 communication encryption
protocol, because it is the version that bvc will use from November of this year. (Click here if

services)
2. Configure a static route to the Temporary Union routers to the network segment
10.240.152.0/24 because this network segment is the one that will soon be used for the
consumption of FIXML services both in the main center and in the alternate contingency center
of bvc. (Click here to learn about the ongoing activities between bvc and affiliates who already
consume these services to achieve this connection.)
