Resumen
Este breve ensayo es una mirada holística sobre las negritudes, desde cuando aparecen en la historia y fueron incorpo-
radas a Occidente (siglos XV – XVI), su esclavitud y actual discriminación; pero haciendo énfasis en el Gran Caribe donde
es decir, lúdico pero también del saber y del logos, para hacer justicia con esta etnia que tanto nos recuerda el origen de
Pero somos uno y mismidad, a pesar de las formas externas. Y cuánto le debemos a los negros en estos últimos cinco
siglos y cuánto han aportado al desarrollo material de la humanidad que ha querido deshumanizarlos. Pero el Caribe los
ha acogido y estos han sabido aportar su color, sus creencias y su inteligencia como ingredientes fundamentales en la
construcción de la raza cósmica de Vasconselos que tanta intimidad guarda con el mar.

Abstract
This brief essay is a holistic view of blackness, from when they appear in history and were incorporated into the West (XV
- XVI century), their slavery and current discrimination; but with an emphasis on the Greater Caribbean where they have
also of knowledge and logos, to do justice to this ethnic group that reminds us so much of the origin of the human spe-
cies in Africa. From there we all left for all the ends of the planet to populate and diversify. But we are one and sameness,
to the material development of humanity that has wanted to dehumanize it. But the Caribbean has welcomed them
and they have known how to contribute their color, their beliefs and their intelligence as fundamental ingredients in the
construction of the cosmic race of Vasconselos that has so much intimacy with the sea.
