This edition of the Journal IUSTA has as purpose the dialogue between diferent contexts associated to public law, where irstly situations of gender and their legal-criminal reality in Colombia are emphasized, with respect to sexual ofenses and their possible revictimization. In this case it is the research conducted as a result of the hotbed of research by the student Lina Milena Garcia Sierra, who analyzed in this work, from a socio-legal point of view, the social interactions of women from predeterminations she asserts as symbolic. In this regard, the author reiterates that these predeterminations are due to cultural values of inferiority, weakness and other adjectives of subordination that, in her opinion, are implicit in learned contexts of diferent scenarios, especially in sexual ofenses.
Secondly, in research advances, Professor Edgar Antonio Guarin Ramirez, as part of his doctoral research breakthrough, analyzes the efective realization of rights from the person. In this regard, it is established that the recognition and actual awarding through court rulings represent a current problem that is approached from the philosophy and legal theory, especially for the efective projection of human rights. he third research advance of external type, conducted at the Universidad Libre, refers to the criteria for implementing protective and preventive measure in the "new" National Police and Coexistence Code. he authors analyze the "Bill of the National Police and Coexistence Code", introduced by the National Government in Congress and which irst debate is expected in 2013. In this regard, the police action is aimed to the protection of people in evident weakness and in preventing criminal behavior of highly aggressive people.
Another research article that is part of this edition is the principle of humanitarian aid and displaced women in Colombia, presented by Dr. Myriam Constanza Caicedo Enriquez, of the Universidad Mariana de Pasto. he text refers to the phenomenon of internal displacement and the principle of humanitarian aid that reiterates the rulings of the Constitutional Court, especially in the care and protection of displaced women that, in the national case, requires a special policy given the particular phenomenon of infringement.
