Abstract
Today, when Ukraine suffers from a terrible war,
research on economic and legal trends within the
framework of restoration of the affected
territories is g aining a certain urgency. The
analysis of the legal experience o f European
countries with a special mode of ec onomic
development, which may become an effective
basis for the restoration of the territor ies of
Ukraine after the military actions, requires a
special emphasis in this context. The study is
based on an analysis of scientific and applied
approaches to post-war management and the
presentation of economic results in European
countries, where the experience of Bosnia and
Herzegovina, Serbia, Italy and Spain play an
important role. The authors paid considerable
attention to the analysis of the Ukrainian case in
2014, when Russia occupied Crimea and part of
Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Based on
European and Ukrainian experience, it has been
